Does anybody remember the summer of 1980 and Christopher Cross, this big bear kind of guy singing in a high pitch but such beautiful songs. This one is one of my faves for summertime Sailing I've linked a live version done in aug2007, cool!
It's for the AUG10VSNO hosted by Erica (msdaiquiri). We were to use a summertime song as inspiration and a same number for the sketch an color challenge. I chose SC02 and CC02. What fun I had. And I needed a birthday card for my brother Ricky turning yep, 53. You wouldn't know by looking at him, he is one handsome dude. If you want to see the picture, stop by my blog:
Your very nice looking brother will love this card! Thanks for sharing info about the knot. I like how you personalized his innitial and age on the sail! Great card!

Love your card Miss Peggy, especially with the music playing in the background. This is just so cool AND very relaxing! Love that knot too, you did good my friend. Awesome card, wonderful song, and way cool blog. When did that come about? I am so far behind. Yikes. Say, did I read somewhere that you are having surgery? Hope all goes well for you my friend. Peggy,
Well, this is my lucky day. I am playing catch up on all the QFTD challenges that I missed. You were Queen #2 and I wasn't aware of the Queens until #6. So, I was going through your gallery and got stopped instantly to look at this great card of yours. It's beautiful, Peggy. And as an added treat, you linked the tutorial for making a sailor's knot--something I've been wanting to learn.
In the near future (a few days perhaps) I will be posting a QFTD02 card in your honor and will let you know when I do so you can see my belated tribute to you. (I'm assuming it is going to be worthy of your standards!)
I see you have a blog, too. Can't wait to check that out.
