Rox's challenge for VSN is Summer Vacation. This was not a vacation, but a temporary liveing change.
My father's job took us to Savanah Ga when my sister and I were 2 and 9. We lived temporarily (for several months) in a motel right on the beach! Can you imagine! So, it felt like a vacation! We had never even seen the ocean before. Anyway, I am the older one, and I collected those sandallers like crazy! I put them in a shoebox, and my Mother put them on top of the fridge. Well, a few weeks, or so there was a terrrible stink! Mom finally realized what it was! We didn't know there were living things in them!
I clear embossed the shells, and then rubbed distress ink on them. Sorry, I do not know who the sentiment stamp is by. I bought it at a stampshow. It was just rubber and I mounted it on foam and use acrylic block to stamp. If anyone knows, let me know. I just had to have it! I might use this as a birthday card for my sis.
Thanks for looking.

What a terrific story. I wouldn't have known there were living things in those sand dollars either. This is a sweet card and I think it will make your sister laugh.

That's pretty funny about the smell. I collected some in California but didn't have smell, I still have them.
This is a great card for the challenge and for the memories with your sister. Thanks for playing the challenge.
