I did this card for the sketch challenge this week as well as the colour challenge Pacific Razzleberry Olives.
I decided this gal's name was Olive and I've had this stamp quite a while. I bought her because something about her reminded me of my grandmother who loved Hawaii and used to wear mumus back in the 70's when they were "in".
I was a little bit liberal with the sketch. I substituted Olive and the home made clematis flower for the circle in the sketch. Razzleberry reminded me of the colour of a clematis flower.
I cheated a little bit on the colour as well. I used flesh tones for Olive and I had to give her a wonderful shade of lipstick because her lips just begged me to!
The colour green for the dress along with the selection of a flowery dress came from Mother Mark's Teapot challenge for this week. I had a notion to put a chick somewhere on the card and make the caption hey chickie but I wanted Olive to be able to come in the front door in her curlers rather than the back door!
I coloured her with copics, stamped my background and mounted everything all up. The bling is from the dollar store and when I found that it saved me from trying to doodle on swirls at midnight. Thank heavens, I'm not sure that would've ended well.
Hope you like her and thanks for looking!

I must say Olive is looking quite fabulous with her gorgeous lips! I love the coloring and the way you did the layout. Yes, I got a big kick out of Olive at the tea party!

Hey there! Welcome to the teaparty! Giggle! OMG! What a funny card.....you know what? I heard she's got some chickens hiding under her dress and their feathers are tickling her toes and she's got the giggles! Snort, Snort, Snicker!
Whoa, you brought some diamonds to the teaparty. I think you are gonna be leaving here to day with a boat load of chickens! You got somewhere to put them? If you don't, maybe you can sell them back to JJ just don't tell Molly I said that!
Come on, I'll get you some cookies...I hide some for the newbies cuz the teapotters love their treats! This card just plain rocks! Look, she is still giggling!!!

Thank you all for the lovely comments.
As for all the bling at the chicken party.... I forgot that every piece of girly stuff meant one chicken had to go. I never realised that every diamond would count as 1 thing.... Glad I could help and thanks for the special cookies! They are delicious.
