| I created this card using sketch 82 from lordhavemercy-mercykerin. I created the background paper by spritzing it with Pearl Glimmer Mist. I also spritzed the DP for the panels with the Glimmer Mist. Once I had all of my panels cut out, I dry embossed the edges to give them a cleaner feel. I also stamped my sentiment on the bottom panel in a dark blue ink.
For the main panel, I cut out the shape using a Nestabilities Die and embossed the edge. Then I stamped the swans in the center and stamped the swirls underneath them in black ink. Then I added Pearl Flakes to the swans and added just a touch of orange glitter glue for the beaks. I also went over the swirl with clear glitter glue, which brought out the blue tones in the ink.
While I didn't like the way the paper curled with the Glimmer Mist, I really liked the way the texture turned out on the swans! |
