This was a challenging sketch, but I enjoyed it! This is also for Thurs. DDIC challenge.
I couldn't figure out a chocolate candy substitute, so I concentrated on the colors and textures. I really like the herringbone pattern and the blue, brown and orange colors.
The flower was stamped twice, colored w/ markers and one was cut out and attached on top of the base image. I cut it out using a Spellbinder petite oval and sponged a little blue ink around the outside while the die was still in place. I added some layers of blue and two patterns of dp. The brown is a reverse side of the flower dp and I used the herringbone embossing folder on it. On the lower rust colored layer, I used a border punch. The finished card measures 4.25 x 5.50 (A2).

Julie, this is gorgeous, and I love that blue thrown in with these other colors. Always such beautiful work with your layering.
