This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 284 - Always Pink Cherries with some pinking sheers dessert. I used my Victorian design on the always artichoke layer at the top.
My layout is from MONDAY'S MOJO SKETCH # 152.
I also included Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 286 - Anything but a bow or knot.
This started out as a sympathy card for a friend who just had a family member to pass away but took a different turn and just did not end up where it started.
I used my Textile embossing folder with cherry cobbler ink for the pretty in pink panel. I used Nesties large scallop oval for my focal panel. I hope you are not tired of this flower bc I just love it. I inked the flower part with cherry cobbler and the leaves with always artichoke, huffed and stamped on white then colored in some copics. I applied some white liquid pearls to the flower centers. Not sure if you can tell that or not.
My dp is from My Minds Eye - Playful Posies stack. I stamped the sentiment in Espresso Ink. Thank you so much for taking a look and I hope you like it.
