This week, mothermark, Cindy, is featured as Queen for the Day - honoring her for her participation in challenges, support of others, and just generally being a great SCSer! Congratulations, on this very well deserved honor.
Now, for this card...
I have used the image a LOT, and some challenge participants have claimed I did their portrait, or the portrait of a friend at SCS. So today I thought I would do a portrait of Cindy. I just got this black and white polka dot paper, and I have recently tried a bit of paper piecing. I was able to create a perfect outfit and bg for da mudder. (disclaimer - I am pretty sure this is not a really close representation.)

I'll have to await Cindy's comment before making a decision as to whether this represents a genuine likeness of her or not. You know I love this ridiculous image. I think your polka dot paper piecing is fabulous! What a great way to acknowledge Cindy's involvement in your scs escapades!

Hey, wassup with dat! I was going out to dinner tonight with the photographer and I could not find my favorite dress and birdie hat! What the heck, Dorothy? I come here and you have both of them! Gimme back my stuff!!!
What a funny, funny image and I have to say, I have definately got the double chin going on! Snort! I love this card...but I have one little worry! If that birdie does a dive bomb to get that butterfly, this ole broad might end up with hat feathers up her nose! Which could cause a severe case of the giggles.
Thanks so much for spending time in my gallery and taking my card this funny direction! I love it! It polka dots rock! You are acing that paper piecing technique!

Oh, this is a good one. Just look at all those signature polka dots. But, it may be a good thing you gave that disclaimer. This is so cute and fun. Way to go!!!
