I made four cards tonight--all to go to friends who have had a very tough week. Having gone through a similar experience about 5 years ago, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about and praying for them.
This is one of the most beneficial things about paper crafting, especially card making, in my opinion. I find it a very effective meditation or relaxation technique. I find time to think of others instead of just myself.

This is a really pretty card with a set that has been collecting dust at my house for a while - you've inspired me to get it back out again! And, I agree with you about the benefits of card making. I always enjoy thinking about the person I am making my card for and find it to be a calming activity amidst my usually busy life of running around after my kids.

I love how you used a piece of the past: the stampset that is beautiful but retired, with a piece of the present: the topnote. Simply wonderful together. Love your colors, your ribbon, your sentiment.
Thanks for sharing a great card.
