Faith is this week’s hostess with the mostess! Scenic cards says she. Well, this week, Mark’s Finest Papers released four new sets and it just so happens that one of them is “Regal and Proud”. Every image on this card is in this awesome set PLUS 7 different word sentiments!!! How could any American not love this eagle??
So, here’s my scene – those mountains in the background take you to any mountainous area in this great country – the deer and the eagle signify the freedom we have.
I cut my eagle out and put him on dimensionals just to show what a strong reminder he is of what this country is founded on! A touch of prismas to highlight him and chalk on the background for a little added color and some doodles and IÂ’m done.

Vicky, what a proud American card. Such strong symbols, love the sentiment, and again, your signature sqiggles around the outside of the card finish it off beautifully.

The eagle looks almost alive, Vicky. Great job with those eyes. Beautiful card and love those doodles.

I love how you used the fleur de lis images in the corners, Vicky!
