For today's sketch challenge my goal was to incorporate my owl, as I just received this awesome punch in the UPS delivery truck- yippee! I embossed some Caramel and Chocolate chip and punched out the body. I used some Pumpkin Pie DP for the eyes, along with a dew-drop eyelet and a yellow gemstone. IRL he has really 'poppy' eyes. The background scene was done by masking off the circle for the moon and sponging with grey. The moon was spritzed with Shimmer Mist for shine and sponged with a touch of Saffron. I stamped evergreen trees along the bottom. Using my spritzer I spritzed the panel with grey and caramel and then sponged around the edges with caramel. The bird sits on a branch punched from Mellow Moss DSP. The black scallop was highlighted by adding yellow and orange gemstones. The Mellow moss horizontal panel is embossed.
