So here is my story:
This is Billy Basset the best baseball basset hound to be found! He catches. He throws. He bats. HeÂ’s great all around!
He is going to try to help out the Bad News Basset Hounds
(Hmmmmmm I thought that was Bad News Bears)
He heard about Boscoe's plight and thought he needed to support a fellow baseball playing basset hound. So he grabbed his glove and ran down to the ball field . . . this one was FILLED with baseballs (giggle) . . . and found that the team was struggling at the bottom of the nineth against those darn cat playing Purrrrrrfect Players (humph - I heard Spit and Spat from last weeks tea party had joined them and were fighting on the field). The score was 2 to 1 but there was a cat at second, there was only 1 out and the Purrrrrrfect Players' best batter was up - YIKES! Billy ran out to replace the center fielder and when the next batter came up - POW - a line drive came right at Billy! He grabbed it and threw to first where Bosco was - OUT! Boscoe went to throw to second but Queenie was there chewing on a bone one of those darn cats had snuck in to distract the Bad New Basset players - suddenly Boscoe sees that Billy has already run in to 2nd base - Boscoe throws to Billy and Billy tags the player there out! Billy saved the play!!! The Bad News Bassethounds win!
So what do you think? Should we let this hound on the mound?
Image is a cut and paste of two images off the internet - a cute ball player from Arthurs Clip Art and a basset hound from a free coloring book page of cats and dogs. I colored them with copics. Sentiment is Fiskars All Year Greetings, Baseball background paper was a paperball picture off the internet.

OMG! What a fun background! Whew, its so nice to have some talent on the field!! Boscoe and Billy will make such a great team as evidenced by this most recent win! Team work in the midst of dog bones and Spit and Spat Cat Fights is an amazing accomplishment for the Bad News Bassethounds! Yeah, lets put this hound on the mound! No doubt!
What a precious image, precious card! I am so glad that Andrew will see this up close and personal! Woot! Thank you Gale......you did so good!!!
