For the WT282 Stick It Challenge, I chose to "stick" this little note to my cork with my Push-Pin Die from Quickutz.
I've had this Quickutz die, and used it a bunch on scrapbook pages to "pin" pictures to the page. It seems like in my head my scrapbooking supplies are different from my card making supplies.... which is really dumb, because there is so much more creative options if you combine them. (duh!)
I've had this cork in my scrapbooking stash from waaaaaaaay back around 2003. So it goes, to show... when you hang on to something long enough, it will be back in style!
I made this card for my friend Lisa Lara, who just found out her son is being deployed in two weeks. I thought she could use some happy mail!! I guess it won't be a surprise, because she might see it here. That's ok though!

Love that cork paper and how you layered it with the dp. Your push pin is perfect for the "stick it". Such a cheerful card. I'm sure your friend will absolutely LOVE it!
