This is a wedding card for the friend whom I made the wedding invitations for a couple of months ago. Her colors are pink and white.
This bg is a beautiful light pink....not what it looks like the photo!!!! I got my inspiration for this card from a card made by Lynda Benden who had a card showcased in CardMaker Magazine, Januray 2010 issue, Page 32. Lynda's card is titled "Flourished Valentine".
I used my new CB swirl ef and traced it with a silver Gelly Roll glitter gel pen to give the swirls some sparkle. The bottom edge is bordered with an EK Success punch. The center heart is a Sizzix stencil/embossing plate that I traced with the silver gel pen twice, then popped up one on top of the other. Cut out with oval nesties and placed the half pearls and the silver gems on the heart. I added the ribbon and two larger half pearls at the bottom.
I hope they like it!!!
What do you think?

Wow Leslie, you taught me something today. I did not know you could get so much pretty sparkle and shine from a gel roll pin. I am going to have to try that sometimes as I really like how wonderfully highlighted that embossing looks. What a beautiful card. Great job!
