Congrats, Alanna! Wonderful gallery! I love all the CAS, I just wish I could do CAS, lol. I try, but I rarely succeed. So I chose Sunny Bunnies but I added a lot of stuff. I kept the checkered/grid bg, the colors and the layout, but I turned it on its side, used different images, added a ribbon and a lot of layers.
For my card, I stamped the sunflowers, colored them with markers and used the Out of the Box Nestie Technique and a labels 8 to cut it out. It's matted on a larger black layer. For the next layer, I used some fancy edge scissors, called sunflower, to trim around the rectangle, then sponged ink on the edges.
The grid bg was done by covering the white c/s with some drywall mesh then sponging yellow and orangey inks over it. After removing the mesh, you get this wonderful grid pattern. I added a narrow black border (also trimmed w/ the scissors) near the edge of my 5.5 x 4.25 white card. A checkered bow and Happy Fall tag finished the card.
Thanks so much for looking! It's on my blog: The Write Stuff
