This is the left side of a dps. I covered four challenges with this page: Let Me Tell You About the Birds & the Trees (IFC79), Variety Challenge: The Great Outdoors (SBVC12; Create Unity With a Grid (IFC76), and an old digi challenge, Make a Hybrid Page (DGC016).
For this hybrid page, I added my photos, digi elements (bird in boxes by Erica Zane (Backyard Buddies); tree in small boxes from Everyday Mom Ideas blog (Fast & Furriest kit) text and digi papers to a digi template (Scrappin With Liz) and printed it out, using a punch to round the corners.
For the journaling, I used a fill template by Patty Knox at Designer Digitals called Text Bytes No. 3. It has two parts: The main shape with my journaling which filled in as I typed, then I switched to the outside layer and it added the outer border of text. Very cool!
