 | | I had a lot of fun with this card! This is for today's WT281, Wonderful Woodgrain. I didn't think I'd be able to make a decent faux woodgrain, but I gave it a shot and was surprised and pleased by my results! (There's a close up of my faux woodgrain on my blog: http://mylittlesliceofbliss.blogspot...to-school.html)
This is also for this week's {ippty} challenge, which is a your-choice 1-2-3 challenge. I chose 1 great sentiment, 2 punched butterflies, and 3 buttons. Also for the Unity Addicts' Challenge UAC11, to make a card with no designer paper. Check! I ripped a page from an old dictionary as my background paper, plus used {ippity}'s A Bit of Burlap background stamp in several places, and, of course, a panel of my faux woodgrain! I love how this turned out.
This will make a great teacher note card, so I'll put it aside to use in the fall once we're back to school.
Thanks for taking a peek!!
Emily
