I was not happy with my first card for the Always Playing with Paper Challenge #8 http://www.alwaysplayingwithpaper.blogspot.com/ (the challenge is a photograph of bold Portuguese pottery and my first try was more of an effort to recreate the pottery design).
On this card I used the colors from the pottery to create a sunset image using embossing and sponging. I inked the Finial Press Embossing with Pacific Point and embossed it on white paper to give the illusion of porcelain. I also embossed the Tangerine Tango layer with the second inking from the same folder. I am not used to using such bright colors, so I hadf to distress a little bit with the sponge dauber :-)
I hope you like this card- I had a lot of fun making it! IsnÂ’t great that we have such a creative outlet?

Julie, another beautiful card. I love the colors. Great use of the Flores Suaves - one of my favorite sets. The colors in your card are rich and intense and I love them!
thanks for joining the Paper Players again this week.
