Today my friend Carol aka bobbiesgirl and her dh Bob (imagine that) are celebrating 35 years of bliss. Congrats! Now, I knew their anniversary was coming up, but I didn't know the date. So I'm sorry Carol but my card is going to be late!!!
This card fits three of the dare to get dirty challenges. DTGD10kittie747, DTGD10kimhughes, DTGD10JeanneS
To find out all the details on these challenges you have to be a fan club member so go ahead and join already!!!
These rings were left overs from my bff's wedding and were in the garbage pile. I'm glad I finally found a use for them. (DTGDKittie747#
I used clear ep to emboss the medallion and the sentiment on this card, dabbed some straw mat colored ink over it to reveal the hidden image.#DTGD10kimhughes#
The color combo here is from a naturals stack, but they are the right colors for DTGD10JeanneS.
I made this card using Carol's style. She is into using distress inks, distressed edges, twinish things and charms. I used some th distress ink to make the ridge edge (cut with fancy scissors) shine and used some of this leather lacing I found in the junk drawer to hold these silver rings. I added a tiny heart.
I sure hope you love it when it shows up in your mail box Carol #and Bob).
Thanks for taking a look. I love how this turned out and will for sure try this resist embossing technique again.

Awwww. I am so honored that you made and uploaded this beautiful card for us. You are so talented. It's PERFECT. You did a beautiful job on the emboss resist and the distressing. I love the soft colors and the colors you chose to put together are just perfect. The rings with the dangling heart are awesome and I hate to repeat myself so often, but I think you are VERY talented. Thanks, Renee'. I can't wait to see this in person.
