This card is going to my girlfriend whose beloved cat passed away tragically following a dog attack in their own front yard - the cat survived the attack (miraculously) and was going along OK (despite quite extensive injuries) & was out of Vet hospital and back home, and then died suddenly while curled up on my friend's bed!! How awful and heartwrenching!
I have never made a Pet Sympathy card before but tried to keep it simple and understated. I used pale pink cardstock because the cat was a girl. The sentiment is up on 1mm mounts (dimensionals). I added Art Institute transparent pink glitter to the punched hearts just to add a little "something" that wasn't over-the-top.
The cat is an old PSX stamp - I just inked the top portion of the stamp.

Oh, how sad for your friend. It's so hard to lose a pet - and after such tragedy when they thought she was going to be OK, well your friend will be touched by your lovely card.

Brought a tear to my eye. How very awful and heart wrenching for your friend. Being a kitty lover myself, I feel the ache she must be feeling. Your card is very pretty and will bring comfort. It's PURR-fect. TFS. : )

This card is beautiful!!! I lost a cat the same way that your friend did, about 5 years ago. A boxer bull dog came all the way down the street (abt. 1/4 mi.) to my yard and grabbed my cat and slung it until she was hurt so badly that we had to put her down. It was awful. Keep up the good work.
