 | | Created for the DTGD10rsalamon challenge: don't know what that is? join the fan club and play along.
I normally use at least a few layers, pieces, or embellies when I make a card, but I challenged myself to the challenge of a single layer card.
I used my ms scoreboard to score a frame around the card base front at 1/4 inch. then I stamped the MS butterfly using the masking technique so they overlapped a bit, all in grey ink. The sentiment is from hampton arts and is also stamped in grey. I colored the butterflies in colored pencil, blending from maroon to bright yellow.
It still looked a little plain so I took my quilters tool and added a faux stitched frame around the embossed frame, and made trail lines for the butterflies. ( it is hard to see this in the photo)
So how'd I do with my CAS card? |
