Well, better late than never!!
Here is my card to honor hobbydujour aka Sallie as Queen for the Day 18 - sorry I am late, but life got in the way a bit, but I am happy to say, it gave me a lot more time to look through Sallie's beautiful gallery. This is the card I got my inspiration from!! SC286 Poppies by hobbydujour at Splitcoaststampers
I changed up the colors and used a different stamp, but tried to stay as close to her card as possible. It is actually a very easy card to make, with lots of possiblities, depending on the stamp you decide to use.
I first stamped the image in Sahara Sand, then colored the light image with the aqua pen painting light and darker areas, then using the SAMJ, stamped over the colored area in black, then VOILA, done! Spritzed over the dried image with Gold smooch spray, though I think that maybe it is TOO MUCH for this card, I will probably leave it off for the next one I make! What do you think?
Thanks, Sallie for all the great inspiration in your gallery!!

Sue, your card is beautiful! I love the hydrangea and how you colored it and the colors that you used with it! The ribbon in green/cream is so pretty and soft to match your image.
I don't consider you late!...it was a pleasant surprise to find your card today! I felt I was "done and over with" when the new queen ascended to the throne! ; ) Thanks SO much for making my week start out with a smile! Love your card!
