At last I have finished making a card!! :) I started this card for Father's day for my husband, and just finished it for him for our 27th anniversary a few days ago. Dh flys stunt kites for a hobby - which look absolutely nothing like these kites. But I did love this set, and bought it with DH in mind.
I just love the paper I used - the glittery off colour clouds!! DH was getting impatient for his card, and several times I had to seek his advice - what angle should I put the kites at, how to place the tails etc!! :)
The tails are made of a wired covered kraft coloured material which I coloured over with my black copic.
Thanks for looking! :) Hope I can get back to making my cards a little faster!!! :) Card measures 7 1/2 inches by 6 inches

This card is terrific! I love the paper and that stamp is wonderful! It is so great that you involved your DH in the angles and all - that makes it so much more meaningful - which is a good thing since FD was like a month ago..... I am putting this one in my favs......

This is fabulous and I'm totally impressed with the technical know-how that went into the kite flying bit - more impressive is the bright striped kites all in a row - makes such a striking card against the subtle glittery sky and clouds!! Love it! Happy Anniversary too!
