My card is also to honor our newly crowned Queen For The Day, MariLynn. I was so excited to see MariLynn as Queen! Her gallery is full of gorgeous and creative artwork! It was a little daunting to contemplate CASEing her work, but I just had to choose one of her stunning creations with the Clearly Inspired Brushed Flowers set. Her coloring of these images is exquisite and she inspired my purchase of this set! This is the card I chose: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=90586
I kept the basic layout and poppy theme, the same, but I changed the background from Ink, Spray and Smash to Polished Stone in shades of green. I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers rather than chalks. I airbrushed the background of the image panel. The only embellishment was the black silk ribbon and triple loop bow.
Finally, this is for today's Our Creative Corner Challenge, which was a color challenge - red, green, black and white: http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.c...challenge.html
