Thanks to Kittie for a fun challenge! I've been mulling this one over since Saturday! LOL! Thanks again!
I used an en envelope from a package of Maya Road envies that I had bought to use on an scrapbooking layout. I took this one all apart for a page and then ended up changing my mind. I put it back in the drawer thinking I'd eventually either use it or throw it out. PERFECT!!! LOL!
I had removed the eyelets that came with the envelope so it was easy to cover it with the patterned paper I chose. I then used the same PP to punch out the circles under the eyelets. I replaced the white string that came with the envie with a piece of linen thread.
I then free hand doodled all around the edges. TFL!!

This is absolutely precious! I love the curvy scalloped border on the envelope lid and your circle linen thread tie. The cute little owl image is so perfectly placed in the raised area. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge.

Love the circle border, and the coloring of the crest on the owl. Oh and your doodling, too. Fun card from a fun gal. Thanks for sharing! Blessings, Lela
