I've been wanting to do a page about the Harry Potter series and my DD1's love for it. DD1 has many learning disabilities but is mainstreamed. However, to get her to read during the summer is pulling teeth and usually involves a LOT of bribery. Last summer, the HP series clicked with her imagination and no bribery was required! She read almost the whole series by the time school started...so a BIG Thank You to JK Rowling for making my daughter's 'first love' ;-)
I wrote on the side of the heart 'Sarah's favorite characters are the Weasley's'

What a wonderful thing to scrap. Glad she took to reading them rather than just watching the movies. The stories are so much better and let your imagination run. I'm sure JK Rowling would be proud to hear that her books made an impact on your daughter. You have done a great job scrapping it with the little Weasley wizard.
