 | | Here's my card for this week's Sketch Challenge http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=498470. I received some new rubber so I just HAD to play with them right away.
I started with a Perfect Plum card base and ran it through my Big Shot with the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate. I grabbed some Marina Mist cs for Panel 2 and punched out a bunch of hearts. I glued two of them together, sponged the edges with Marina Mist ink and glued them to Marina Mist cs. (Love Faux Embossing!) Panel 3 is just a strip of Rose Red cs.
For the main image, I stamped this sweetheart with VersaMark onto watercolor paper and embossed it with Black Emboss Powder. I used markers and an Aquapainter to color it and layered this panel on Basic Black cs. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp the sentiment with Basic Black ink and framed it with a silver Hodgepodge piece. I don't have any Marina Mist ribbon yet, so I ran a piece of Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain across my Marina Mist ink pad, let it dry and then wrapped it around then panel and glued it to the card.
