This is my card for today's Color Challenge - Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi. Unfortunately my new colors aren't due to arrive until tomorrow, but I came as close as I could with what I had.
This is also for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge and Destination Station #102: Forums at Splitcoaststampers Forums at Splitcoaststampers
This week we are having our tea party at the high school gym. We're here to help out Sam, the Ham Knottingham, who needs a quick lesson on boys' sports so she can get a 42,000 million dollar contract with Burke, the Jerk to play professional sports. Right now, she hasn't a clue! She's a girly girl! I've brought Sam a "racing" bike. Even girly girls know how to ride bikes, so I figure Sam can quickly come up to speed on the racing aspect!
This card is actually for Mark, an 11 year old boy who is undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma. You can read about Mark here: http://www#splitcoaststampers#com/fo...d#php?t=493823
I hope this card with the shiny red bike will lift Mark's spirits during this tough time.
Thanks, Betty and Cindy, for the challenges and TFL!
Oh, and I used the sketch from PaperCraft Planet for my layout (sk071010).

Well, this is sure to put a smile on his face. That red bike looks cool to me, and for any 11 year old in need of a brightness in his life. Thanks for sending a card to Mark, really means alot to Cookie and me. TFS your pretty talent too.

Hi Carla! I love that you are here with your shiny red bike! I think we need to get it to Mark before Sam, the Ham gets on it....did you see how unbalanced she was when she was flingin' her fishing pole into the lake? We finally had to have 4 teapotters hold her up when she cast off.....then she caught a fish and that's when we decided to try something different..........Yikes!
This is a precious little card and reading Cookie's comment made me smile! I love seeing these wonderful cards go out to Mark during probably the hardest time of his life! Thanks for all you do!
back to say....I love reading your commentary every week...you summarize everything so well and I find myself thinking....what is she talking about?? Giggle.....its sort of a skeery thing! Tee Hee!
