Today's card was inspired by this photo: http://www.bluecarrotshop.com/detail...&ID=61&CatID=9 I liked the colors and the peanuts and decided to make a card featuring them. I unearthed 2 stamps: a peanut and a jar. At first, everything was easy-peasy, but them I hit a dead end: I kept messing up on the homemade DP. Things were not lined up correctly. Fortunately, Mom noticed that I was stuck in a rut, and she gave me some handy tips which helped me get out of it! After that, things went much more smoothly!! :>) All in all, I'm pretty happy with the final product and I hope you like it, too!!
Thanks for looking!!
Joanna

Good for Mom giving you a helping hand - we all need that sometimes. But usually our cards are better than we think they are, too . Your jar reminds me of some boiled sweets that we used to get when we were kids - hard candy on the outside and chopped salted peanuts on the inside. We used to go to a shop in the village which had big jars full of all sorts of different candies.
I like the way your knots are tied on different sides at the top and bottom.

Joanna, this turned out so very cute! Your peanuts in the jar look fabulous. Your final card shows no signs of the troubles you ran into. I LOVE how you did the ribbon knots. That looks so cool!
Keep up the good work, Hon!
Love, Mom

I really love this card, Joanna!! The peanuts look perfect in that color and I love how you stamped them in red also, making such a pretty background paper. A very wonderful card!!!!
