Congratulations Sabrina! After spending an hour or so in your gallery today, I can see that you deserve it! I faved so many of your cards as I went thru it. This card was really inspiring to me. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=133118
Not only that, but you included a story about your parents in the description, which we were asked to do today. My Mom is inspiring to me. She is 85, and still as busy as ever! She is a faithful prayer warrior, and is a servant to others! I am so lucky to still have her and to have her near by, too! Well, the only thing she has to do with this card is that she asked me to make a birthday card for a friend who is turning 100 later this month! So ,many of the cards I will be making for challenges, I will be considering them for that. So, I left any sentiment off, in case I might do that! Let me know what you think. And be sure and look at Sabrina's gallery if you haven't. It is wonderful!

What kind words for Sabrina to read! How interesting the card you selected has a story of Sabrina's mom. Must be divine intervention that prompted you to case this particular card and how you, too, beautifully wove a lovely story about your mom! It sounds like she's a vibrant, active and caring person. You are so fortunate to still have your mom in your life. Your card is exceptional. Love all the silver embossing and the single flower to celebrate one century.

This looks like a great celebratory card with all that silver and the beautiful polished stone and gorgeous pearl-centred flower.
You are certainly lucky to still have your mum - mine died before I was forty. I'm not good with using blues as a main colour, but I do love how they look. I never understand why it's a colour associated with feeling down when to me it's either a very upbeat positive colour in its stronger shades, or peaceful and serene when it's soft like this.

So beautifully created! I also occasionally choose to omit a sentiment .... because it actually leaves the creation "ready" for so many occasions! We can add birthday greetings, thanks, thankful thoughts, or a number of other sentiments & written thoughts inside!
