Here's sending you lots and lots of cheery dots
To help you over this rough spot
Be good to yourself and heal well, Sue
Lots of teapotters are thinking of you!
Yes, it's a Dotty World in the land of da Muddermark but there is one wee problem: her dalmatian dog, Duke, has no spots! How can Da Mudder with all the dots in her life have a dalmatian with no spots? Da Mudder is calling upon all teapotters to bring lots and lots of dots to help Duke out so he can hold his head high among all the other dalmatians, although I think he should find strength and pride in his uniqueness.
You can get the full story in the Teapot Tuesday challenge forum; we hope you'll come and join us at the party! Bertie's already busy flingin' her dots and spots and hoping a few will land on and stick to Duke.

Here's a first for me: I stamped and colored on designer paper. This 4 x 4 piece of polkadotted dp was black and white. I stamped my trees and then drew my grassy hills. I used watercolor wonder crayons and a blender pen to color my grass; I went over that with reinkers and a blender pen for shading. I also shaded the wild wasabi trees for depth. My sun was made with the 3/4" circle and boho blossoms punches.
Here's wishing you a dotty, sunshine-filled day!

And there I was thinking that you'd added the spots afterwards, with Bertie showing sharpshooter skills at positioning them all so accurately. What a happy, sunny cheerful scene - and I love those rolling *stitched* hills.

Okay, I hired Camille, the Accountant, to count the dots, I mean spots, on your card cuz your message told me you were bringing 42,000........She hasn't gotten back to me, it seems she starts counting, then her mind wanders to a tree, hill, the sun or the bugs in the grass and has to start over! I am sending Gertie over to get her focused! (Remind me to never let her to my taxes, kay Bertie?) Anyway, once I get the word from her on the dot, I mean spot, count, I will let you know. And don't go adding more dots, I mean spots, cuz you think you might have over stated your dot, I mean spot, count!
This is the most awesome card! I think you have done created a new technique. Dot, I mean Spot, Art......Didn't you tell me once that you can not draw! Yah right! Those hills are da bomb! You can't draw like Cruella can't pass up a spotted dalmation!

I forgot to tell you sumthin...You are a rotten shot Bertie! Remind me if we have a basketball teaparty to not chose you for my team! You been flinging dots and have hit everything in site except for Duke! And believe me, its not cuz he's running around. Dano the Dalmation Trainer has him sitting still like he's about to set off a bomb during a Fire Drill! You just can't hit the broad side of a barn, I mean Dalmation! Here, lemme show you how to fling! See that? Right on the old smackeroo!
