I created an outsize tag for the base stamping a pattern with a beautiful stamp which was a gift from a friend ( no idea which stamp company). My delivery of two ink pads (from The Altered Element), arrived the same day as I set out to make this tag. Normally I stick with tried and tested ink pads but I could not resist trying the new Paris Trunk dye inks (also available as pigment ink pads). Tiara Gold was used for the main pattern. This gold is beautiful, not shiny and brassy, a real old gold. I layered pattern vellum, a scrap of German text and dabbed Lavender Organza ink onto a piece of embossed wallpaper (a little sample from a well known D.I.Y. shop!) and heat set. At the top of the tag I threaded through several pieces of ripped gold organza, using the heat gun to crinkle the fabric.
