I loved to see a challenge to use heat embossing. With the new distress inks, color wash spray and glimmer mists I have not been embossing as much.
First I stamped the flower with Cobalt Ancient Page on Whisper White paper. Then watercolored in the flower with fours shades of blue – I scribble a bit of the ink on an acrylic block and pick up the ink with an aqua painter. I added some silver gel pen to the middle of the flower. After giving it a minute to dry, I coloured over the whole stamp image with VersaMarker and embossed. I sponged on ink starting in the center and moving outwards with Linen Distress Ink, So Saffron, Summer Sun, and then added some Tea Dye just on the outer edge. The sponging in the picture doesn’t look as soft nor as blended as IRL Mounted it on white, added mini brads, mounted on that on Pacific Point and then on So Saffron.
