I've had a busy week now that my kids are out of school for the summer!! We've been having a lot of fun and cardmaking just hasn't made it into my schedule. But today I needed to make a card to cheer a friend who has been feeling blue and this is what I came up with.
I haven't done any watercolor painting in quite a while and was itching to do some. I'm not completely satisfied with it. I know I could have done better, but had to press on. I picked up these felt flowers on clearance at ACMoore a few weeks ago and was thrilled to use them for the first time today! This is a somewhat large card--size is 5" x 7".

How sweet of you to do this for your friend. Wonderful card Emzi! Love your watercoloured image. Great job on all those challenges. I'm slowly catching up on commenting so I've missed a few in your gallery - but I'm slowly working backwards through the ones I've missed and trying to keep caught up on new cards... Hope it works! Hope you're enjoying your time with your kiddos... RYPH

Love this Flourishes image. I just finished eating almost a quart of cherries all by myself, they are really hard to resist
Beautiful work on this card, Emily. Love the red with the celery.
