What a fun technique challenge Joan! We took flowers from our garden and pressed them with our Cuttlebugs onto watercolor paper!
I tried impatienes, geraniums, and lavender but I found that the little Johnnie Jumpups (wild pansies) from my garden 'pounded' the best - you can actually see the individual flowers on the paper.
I cut my flower panel and sentiment with Labels 10 Nestabilities. The papers are PTI.
I'm late posting tonight because Kent and I met Anne (jdmommy) and Jay for dinner at the 99 Restaurant! What a nice evening we had - I've only 'met' Anne in person once before - but apparently stampers never run out of things to say to each other!!

I must say this is by far the best "image" of the pounding of the flowers today (sounds like the running of the bull!). Absolutely beautiful!!!
I am jealous/envious that you had dinner with Anne and her husband. We have something wonderful here at SCS, don't we?

How wonderful! Your wee flowers 'pounded' beautifully. What a great card this is. Love how you die cut your flowers with a nestie to highlight them. So pretty....

Julia, this is beautiful. Your flowers came out stupendous! I tried and tried but could not get a flower 'look'. Most were a mess until my last try. I love johnny jump ups too. you can see all their detail in your smashing. Really pretty.
Lucky you to have dinner w/ Anne.
