Today's CAS72 challenge on SCS is to make a card using the layout from Diane's fab card here. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=44208
What a wonderful layout and I loved the rounded top to the main panel!
My Bubble Queen set hasn't seen ink in a looooong time, it was fun to use it again. I coloured the image with Copic markers. I chose Barely Banana, Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery CS to go with my image. Papers are Cottage Wall and Sweet Pea.
I used a Coluzzle circle template to cut out a semi circle to get the rounded top of my Banana panel. I wanted to use my small corner rounder punch to get the rounded corners on my paper strips but the punch refused to co-operate with the width of the strips I'd cut! Plan B was to trace a curve on the end of each strip using a small Nestie circle die and to trim round each curve with curved scissors.
The card measures just over 5 1/2" square.
