I originally had this card mostly assembled last Monday and then ran my daughter to an exam. When I went back to this card, I had the sudden realization that the original looked dumb as a bag of hammers. Really, it did!
Yesterday I had an order arrive full of yummy things, and I used some here. I had several spots of ripped paper resulting from the disassemble that I had to cover, so I made vellum flora and fauna to cover that nasty bit. The pearl flourish is almost exactly where it was to begin with. Originally, I had a Capella Bloomer in the lower corner, which looked really stupid - too homespun for the elegant look of the rest of the card. I replaced the bloomer with a white wild rose, and the effect is much lovelier and more romantic, which is the look I was after to start with.
Accessories: white crepe ribbon (creative impressions), taupe pearls & pearl flourish (zva), wild rose flower (petaloo), rock fern, large flowers & leaves, retro mini flower punch (ek success), capella cream rub ons (basic grey)
