Trying out some new directions for a vintage themed swap here. The BG on this is denim striped scrapbook paper that was sanded lightly to age it. I cut diamond shapes in my colors of burgundy, tan and blue then coordinated the title letters accordingly. The image was much larger, had a school door behind it, so I trimmed what I wanted from it and colorized him with chalks and tiny applicators. Metal embellishments in the corners were silver, and I wanted a reddish color, so those were dipped into a mixture of rust and red Adirondack inks. Ribbon at the top mimics the streamers on a boy's bike! Tonic tool used to roughen up the edges around the piece and then chalk ink was applied to the distressed edges.
