Time for another Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. This week I am going to the beach with this Gurlee Girl Image from Chelsea called Lexi. I actually raided my "shell" jar to get these shell embellishments. Over the years I have gather some shells from all the beaches that I have visited in Florida over the years. After placing stickles on these shells, it was so pretty I thought I should go get a bunch of shells to make into Christmas Ornaments.
I used the Martha Stewart Beach Shell and Sand Dollar PATP set. I also used the Fiskars punch that let me thread my ribbon through it (sorry don't know the name of that one). The MS branch punch was used for the sea weed. I also made the sand for the beach which I should have a tutorial done for some time this week on my blog.
Thanks for stopping by today. It is going to be in the 100's again today....definitely some beach weather with lots of SPF30!!!!

Girl, your cards always amaze me, just like today's. I cant belived you used stickles on your shells. I would never in a million years ever thought of doing that. Brilliant idea! Your beach scene and all the extraordinary beach embellishments are fabulous, Carol. Sweet, sweet card.

Okay Bearzi, AMAZED AGAIN!!! Do you ever do a "regular" card???? That's okay, I LOVE looking at all your details girl. I still can't imagine how long it must take to make one of these gems! The stickled seashells was a brilliant idea. I have some seashells from when I visited my Mom and sister in Florida too. Time to get out zee sticklez!!! LOVE that PATP, your darling image, beach scene and seaweed and sand, not to mention the ribbon threading and palm tree. You didn't miss a thing my friend. When I grow up I want to be a Bearzi just like you!! TFS!
