It's been so rainy here today, I had to turn the volume on my speakers way up at one stage. So it was a good day to participate in the ODBD challenge to use the summer colours of blue, green and yellow. At first I was just going to do a monochrome blue, but I added a little green and yellow with my flower.
Background is Leafing Pen Resist, using a silver pen on watercolour paper, and a mix of regular blue watercolours and H2Os. After cutting it to A2 size I used the leafing pen to edge the panel. Sentiment from Scripture Collection 1 stamped with black on white card, also edged with silver pen.
The flourish is a Sizzix die, coloured with green H2Os. The flower is the wing from the SU two-step bird punch, coloured with yellow and a hint of gold H2Os, and a calyx made from a daisy punch. I added a tiny ladybird made from 1/4" and 1/8" circle punches. The verse and flower are popped up on foam.
I really like this verse - one of the first songs I ever remember hearing DH sing in church, almost thirty years ago, was based on this verse.
