 | | While using this stamp set on another card, I discovered an image that I had previously stamped with a Kaleidacolor rainbow pad. Then I found an older Color Challenge that worked for the pre-stamped image and went from there. To layer the image I used Old Olive and Close to Cocoa cardstock. First I misted the Cocoa piece with water and curled up the edges. Then I let it dry. It gives the cardstock a rough feel to it. I used an Old Olive eyelet in the middle. For the bottom of the Creamy Caramel card base, I lightly stamped with other stamps from the Beautiful Batik set. The middle strip comes from one long stamp in the set. First, I inked it up with Creamy Caramel ink. Then I used markers to lightly touch on the stamp in various places before stamping it down. It turned out really well. I layered it with Old Olive and used some Creamy Caramel eyelets. All edges have been sponged and colored with Close to Cocoa ink by rubbing against the ink pad. The Happy Birthday layer was ripped and then ink on the edge. A masculine birthday card that I will probably make again. TFL |
