I love, love, love exploring galleries. I didn't get very far in Marleygo's awesome gallery before finding a card to case, however. (I am going back to explore some more as soon as I get done posting this.) I needed a baby card for a girl, and when I spotted this card BABY BOY CARD by Marleygo at Splitcoaststampers, I knew it was the one for me.
The most obvious change I made was changing it from a boy card to a girl card. I kept the general layout and theme. The baby carriage was stamped in Regal Rose, the dots and hearts were colored with a Regal Rose marker, and the carriage was lightly colored with Pebble Pearlescent chalk in light pink.
Our option this week was to use a designer paper that reminds you of doing or experiencing something that typically you would do/experience in June. Having babies is not necessarily a summertime/June activity, but my first child (a girl) was born in June. The paper I chose makes me think of baby girls--one in particular (who is now turning 37!).
Congratulations, Marleygo. I'm going back to your gallery to check out the rest of it. Enjoy your reign.
TFL.
