I had to do the Stampin B's challenge #62 - to make a seashore card. I immediately thought of this SU set. What could be better?? This is a remake of an earlier FS card that you can see here: FS96 ~ Ocean Breeze by Redbugdriver at Splitcoaststampers
I think I'll give this to DH for Father's Day. It reminds me of our times at Pawleys Island, SC. I colored w/ SU chalk & blender pen. I also used the coluzzel knife & a CM oval cutting system. I went around the outside edge of the oval w/ the knife.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Wow - this is so pretty. Pawley's Island - I read a book about that place (a novel) and it sounded so cool! What a great memory and Father's Day card. Love how you did the layout too!

I loved the way you cut the oval out with the two figures being part of the cut. Great job coloring with your chalks...I am still working on that technique...I'm sure this will bring back wonderful memories for your husband.

Karen, your scene is so beautiful, I can almost feel that ocean breeze! Your card has a great 'masculine' feel, and also catches a tender moment. Beautiful! LYMI
