It was my week to give the Twisted Sister Challenge. I wanted to bring awareness of the horrible situation folks who live along the Gulf of Mexico coast and thought a good way to do so would be to make cards about the ocean. No people and...........no P I N K!!! I used a couple of stamp sets to create this one of which is from Clear Stamps and the other is from Hobby Lobby but I don't know the manufacturer because I disposed of the packaging a long time ago. As I was digging through my stash of stuff I use to embellish, I found this small roll of sticky on one side mesh and thought it looked like netting. Looks sort of oceany don't you think?

Oh my Tater Tot!!!!! How lovely is this card and the senti is just perfect too! I so love your torn edges....perfect in every way!! How marvelous to find this mesh......It gives the card that cool "netting" feel and is very appropriate. Can I come look in your stash sometime??? Love your card, sistah!

Tater, Tater... you know I love a card with a purpose, and I love that you are thoughtful of the people on the gulf. Good reminder to keep them in prayer. Your scene is full of gorgeous texture! Love that mesh, and how it is so perfect with your sentiment. Beautiful to look at, and to think on. Hugs to you Sista! xoxoxo

Beautifully done, Tate, love the sand paper with the sticky netting on top, so perfect for a beach scene.
I like how you used your white gel pen on the water.
