I'm showing this photo so that you can see the glittered highlights from the gold sakura glitter pens (love those sakura pens!) on the dry embossed green cardstock on the front of this card.
I used again a combination of copic glitter markers and the sakura glitter pens to blend colors on especially the floral images on this stamp. Then I took the gold glitter pen and outlined the black edge in gold on all 5 of the stamped images (3 on the front, one inside the card, and one on the envelope) to add just a little more glimmer. I matted the 3 images on the front of the card with some patterned paper from the DCWV Mi Casa stack, what beautiful paper that is! As usual, I found the beautiful ribbon in the bargain bin at Michael's, where I get most of my ribbons. This is my second card using that wonderful bow-easy--I don't ever want to be without that amazing tool again, for I could never make such beautiful bows and not double ones for sure, plus it saves me about a half hour of fiddling too! If you don't have one yet, do consider investing in one--I wish I had played with mine months sooner!
Hoping that my uncle's Mom will know just how much I care when she receives this card hopefully in a few days.
I appreciate your taking the time to check out this card, and please know that your comments are always appreciated--they make my day!
