This is for today's TLC, Getting Personal. I made it for my son's girlfriend, Jenny, who is graduating from college. When they first started dating, he asked her what was her favorite color. Her answer was Rainbow and Tie Dye. Needless to say, the girl loves color! She is a petite little sweetheart, and I am so proud of her. I wanted to make sure that I had plenty of color on her personal card.
I used the JustRite Monogram stamper to make Jenny's monogram. The technique that I used is just plain old heat embossing. I used clear embossing powder and repeated 3 times to really give it shine and texture. It may not be fancy, but it is my favorite technique. The first time I ever walked in to a rubber stamp store, many many years ago, the owner was sitting behind the counter embossing an image. I was fascinated and completely hooked. So this technique is personal to me, too.
I think Jenny will like this colorful card...hope you do, too. TFL!

This is a goregous card. All the pretty swirly colors should be right up her alley. And the matching envelope is lovely too. Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques too.
