Here is a card for our own sweet Connie (Connie Jo9), she has been named Queen for the day/week!! What a day, what a day Connie! I am so thrilled for you. I just love your thoughtfulness, your clever ideas and oh so pretty and moving cards. Especially the ones with baby stuff, well, they are my favourites, I should say. But there are also the guy cards, you have become an Artist at creating too. So I want you to sit down, relax, grab a cup of coffee, or whatever it is you drink...lol and watch the action roll.
This week Anne asked us to add a little story from our lives, one we would feel comfortable writing about. Well, mine is simple enough. Soelah, the oldest of the girls in our family was always like a mom to me, even though there were only 5 years between us. She took me alot places, my first shopping trip to Montreal, my first time in a photobooth, my first time at Le Jardin Botanique (Botanical Garden)We would lunch on french bread and colds cuts! Frugal, yes, healthy, no, but oh can I tell you that memory comes back in a flash whenever I buy a baguette! Yummy memory, beautiful time. Might be wondering why this image.
Well, Soelah, needed some time for herself from the whirlwind that I was, so this is how she would escape best, maybe not sitting in a boat, but I know I've seen her dip her toes while sitting by the lake. What would we do without memories. Thanks Anne, for the memory and this little card is going in the mail for Connie, my new sister! (wink)
Here is the link to the challenge if you feel like honouring our sweet lady Connie.

Great case Giggles!!! I'll bet you were a whirlwind! LOL! I love this image... so relaxing and your memories are so sweet! I had a sister 10 years my elder who did many of the firsts with me too.... so I can really equate with your story... and my memories are bittersweet as well. I miss her much! Hugs!
