I was really happy with my one layer card from last week, so I decided to try another one. The challenge on LateBlossom's blog this week was to use repetition in the card. This is an itty bitty "set" I've had for years. So itty bitty it's hard to find a use and I was glad to have a reason to dust it off.
I'm not entirely happy with this. Feel like it needs fluffing some how. If I'd been thinking ahead, I'd have tried to work in some black rhinestones that are in my stash. I might try some crystal effects on the wings or stickles. We'll see. Most likely, I'll call it done and move on.
I thought I'd give this to the daughter of my son's teacher (teacher is a loose word, he's two) with a B&N gift card inside. She is promoting to High School with a 4.0. How awesome is that?

This is SOO Cool! I love it! I would have definitely added stickles to the wings (I can't help myself, LOL!) but I think it looks great just like this! Love how perfect the circle is - that could have been a challenge, but you make it look easy!

Oh how clever that you incorporated the sentiment in the circle. Since straight line precision is so high on my list of failures, you've inspired me to try a circle or oval arrangement with my itty-bitty flower stamp I will trash the minute I finish a card for Susan's challenge.
Your card is so cute it's the kind of card I'd like to have a box of because it would fit most occasions. Great gift!
