This is a perfect QUEEN... Connie your cards are always a delight to look at... and the Descriptions are always fun and uplifting.. and sometimes I have to pick myself up off the floor from sheer laughing... Your comments on cards are most sincere and loving... which is so very refreshing too.. You are a sweetheart in all ways... I guess that would sum it up... so you are most deserving of wearing this crown... in ALL WAYS... I am so surprised that Anne made you pay shipping changes... WOW... oh well.. live and learn... LOL.. .(she's a hoot... but don't tell her... okay???)
This week a new slant has been added to this wonder challenge... and so here is my card casing of Connie's and also my story... so let me explain both... I cased the card that Connie has the three chickens on... and I did my in fish... as you will see why from my story... which is as follows...
Cowboy SmallÂ…
Oh yesÂ… every child has to have a fish or two in their livesÂ… rightÂ…
Well one day I broke down and bought the proverbial 25 cent goldfish that ended up costing me over $15.00Â… bowls, cute little house for the fish to live inÂ… etc etcÂ… and food for a year or two.. it was cheaper by the larger container.. .you get the idea I am sure!!!
Came home and instructed the kids to feed the fish only ONCE a day.. in the morning when they got upÂ… that was itÂ… other wise they could look at it all that they wanted to.. enjoy it etcÂ…
Both named their fish.. .and I canÂ’t remember what our daughter named herÂ’s but our sonÂ’s was called Cowboy SmallÂ… as that was his favorite golden bookÂ… I am very surprised that I can not remember that story to this dayÂ… I read it every night for yearsÂ… oh well the fish was Cowboy Small..
The next morning I thought I had better see if the bowls needed to be cleaned… they were very small bowls… so I looked and Cowboy Small was floating upside down on about ½ inch of food.. .so I guess he died of no air… I explained to my son what happened and told him that we had to bury Cowboy Small… I always took extra time to explain things to the kids… if I had to do it all over I might not… anyway… I grabbed a spoon and we dug the grave for Cowboy Small.. and put him into it and said a prayer.. (Now I Lay me… prayer… ) and put the soil over the fish…
There were no tears or anything .. and we walked insideÂ… and the kids ran to playÂ… nothing more was said!! WOW Â… That was so easyÂ… still scratching my head, I went to do a few tasksÂ…
In a few minutes I went to see what the kids were doing and the fish (Cowboy Small) was back in his bowl????? Oh my goodness I am loosing my mindÂ… !!! I asked the kids how the fish got back into the bowlÂ… and our son saidÂ…
Cowboy Small didnÂ’t like it out thereÂ… he really wanted to be in here with meÂ… it was too dark out thereÂ… and he likes the sun lightÂ… so I brought him back in hereÂ…
I waited a few yearsÂ… prior to buying more fishÂ… and when I did I again bought a 25 cent fish againÂ…but this time it grew to be over 5 inches longÂ… and he was over 10 years old when he finally diedÂ… he also started out as a Cowboy SmallÂ… but his name was changed to JawsÂ… as he only wanted to eat raw chopped beefÂ… picky fishÂ…
And this is not a fish storyÂ… it is the truthÂ…Honest injun..
So that is my story... and the card you can now understand... Cowboy Small is the one on the top of the card... in all his glory...
Have a super nice day... enjoy it all and thanks for taking a look and also any comments that you have...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

What a great Day for me!!!! This card is GORGEOUS. I love the colors and the dp and the design. Your cards are so beautiful and I never in any way ever thought you would create a card inspired by one of my cards to honor me on my special day. I am truly blessed today!!!!
Love your story. I almost choked on laughter when you bought food for a year or two. I have never had a gold fish live that long. In fact, I am sure if you enter your story to the Guinness World Records, your fish would be recognized for the longest living gold fish. I am sure my sis will have a good story to tell about her short lived adventure with a salt water fish tank when she sees this card. This was such a heartwarming story of your children and their fish. I see a children's book here...think about it!!!
Thank you so much for honoring me on my day with your awesome artwork. I truly appreciate it.
hugs,

Love your fish story... and I'm picturing the look on your face when you saw Cowboy Small back in the fishbowl. What a great story and card to go with it. Are you sending this to your son? Bet he'd love it!
Awesome card - love those fish and the spellbinder label makes a great fishbowl. The polka dot paper makes great bubbles in the water and your border punch mimics waves breaking on the shore.

Oh Bonnie I just love your three fishes card here. So colorful and full of fun. Love your story too. DD won a gold fish at the fair. After awhile, she would come home from school to find him floating belly up. BUT, if you would rub his belly he would flip over and swim away. I think he like having his belly rubbed because he did this a lot until his last floating. hehe. I'll share the salt water fish story my sister mentioned later. Love your card. TFS :0)
