Made for the Sympathy and Thinking of you swap. I distressed the bg paper and sponged with two colors of ink, brown and a light yellow. I cut the second layer and used a MS punch for the two edges, then sponged the edge with brown, vintage sepia by versafine. The sentiment on the inside is also stamped using versafine vintage sepia. I stamped the tree limb from hampton arts and embossed using gold powder. The roses are rolled roses using the white and gold dp, then I kissed the roses on the glue pad and touched them to the gold ep and heat embossed. The leaf punch was also embossed using gold dp, not complete coverage was achieved so I pressed the leaves into the sepia ink pad. I did back the entire card front with a brown piece of cs so the distressed edges show. This is the first of a set of six. Thanks for looking and I'd love to know what you think. Sympathy cards are not my strength.

Lovely! Love the rolled flowers. I agree, sympathy cards are always tough to make. Nice earthy colors, and I love these easel cards! great card! TFS. : )
