This was an easy card to make once the bg paper was done and dry.
I did the bg with spray starch and Pearl Ex. I know this was done and shown here a couple of years ago, but the technique I used was a little different from what has previously been posted.
I sprayed the starch into a glass baking dish then added the different colors of Pearl Ex. Took a toothpick and swirled the powders around, then placed the precut cs on top of this.
Note: the first dunk is usually the best as the starch and PE activate right away. You will even hear a sizzle when you put the cs on top. I used white Cougar cs for this one.
Let this dry.
I stamped the tree with black ink, no embossing, let dry, drew in the hills and grasses, and start layering the cs's. Inspire was stamped onto acetate with the Staz On black ink. Let this dry, figure out where you want it, and punch your holes through all but the actual card layer. Put the brads through the holes and mount this onto the card.
